Community

We are an active member of the community and support the JAKE’S, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Senior Olympics, Optimist Club, 4-H Shooting Sports, and Humility of Mary.

Archery

Our club hosts a number of events including bowhunter, field, and target archery shoots each year.

Family

Davenport Valley Archers provides an opportunity to children and adults of all ages to develop their archery skills, become involved in a hobby or sport, learn responsibility, and develop a respect for nature and the environment.



Our Archery Organization



This club shall be known as the DAVENPORT VALLEY ARCHERS, an archery club offering competition and recreational shooting through Bowhunter, Field and Target archery rounds.

The purpose of this club shall be to encourage and foster the practice of Field, Target and Bowhunter archery. The club shall maintain bowhunter, field and target archery rangers, and shall conduct archery tournaments and games in accordance with the rules and regulations of the National Field Archery Association, National Archery Association and the International Bowhunting Organization as appropriate.

Meet the Team

Jeramy Steinecke - President

The duties of the president shall be to preside at all Club meetings, appoint all committees and perform all other duties consistent with the office of President.

Tom Stelk - Membership

A Membership Chairman shall be elected and serve as a voting member of the Board of Directors. The Membership Chairman shall oversee and maintain a complete list of memberships in good standing. Collect and receive Club dues and maintain a bank checking account with a monthly balance as directed by the Board of Directors. Submit monthly reports detailing memberships and all transactions and submit dues to the Treasurer.

Megan Steinecke - Secretary

A Secretary shall be elected to handle all correspondence for the club and to record minutes of all Board and Club meetings. The Secretary shall also be the custodian of all Club records, take votes of the members when instructed by the Board of Directors and shall inform the membership of official actions of the Board of Directors. The Secretary hall give reports at Club and Board meetings on those areas under the Secretaries purview.
